Budapest Scientology Community Marks 10-Year Milestone

Hundreds of Scientologists assembled at the Váci Road church in Budapest to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.

Opened in 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place news eurovision for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary brought together a religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and a review of past achievements and future activities.

Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
